Chaya for Life Spirituality

Illuminate Your Shadow : A Solstice Yoga Retreat
June 20 -24, 2010 at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health • www.kripalu.org

Celebrate the longest day of the year by releasing your sadness, fear, pain, and suffering into the light of the summer solstice. Take this opportunity for solar healing, receiving the sun’s warmth, joy, and energy at its fullest capacity.

Because the summer solstice offers direct and sustained sunlight, we will set our intentions to illuminate our dark places by letting in the light and applying nature’s rhythms and laws to our yoga practice. In this 4-day retreat, we will practice.

  • Yoga
  • Pranayama
  • Meditation
  • Deep relaxation
  • Fun and reflection
  • Chanting and puja.

Join Chaya Li Sharon for a workshop that will reset your internal clock, renew your yoga practice, and deepen your commitment to spiritual inquiry. The name Chaya means “shadow” in Sanskrit, and is associated with worshipping the sun, the illuminator of infinite causes and effects, the bestower of good health, and the friend of all.

CE credits are available.
